I am Zheng Wei, an illustrator and designer. I graduated from Wuhan Institute of Technology with a degree in visual communication design in 2018. In the same year, I published the only Buddhist picture book in mainland China, "Jixiang Huiben", which was painted with thick painting techniques. I crea
ted my personal Weibo account "Wanqing Illustrations" and continued to publish my works.
In the past seven years, I have been studying Dunhuang culture and Buddhist statue design, and have created 51 personal original Buddhist statue works and several long-form cartoons. These works, combined with modern digital illustration techniques, show the unique charm of Dunhuang art, which is ri
ch in modern fashion culture and profound Chinese culture.
